  • Where can I buy KOKO products?

    KOKO products will be widely available in many national UK and European retailers from September 2012. KOKO products are also available on this website using PayPal, try the KOKO products page.

  • What is BPA?

    BPA, or Bisphenol A, is one of the 50 most-produced chemicals in the world. It is a synthetic compound used in the manufacture of a lot of household articles including food containers and cans, plastic bottles, polycarbonate feeding bottles and soothers etc. It has been classed as a hormone disruptor. Plastics such as polypropylene, glass or silicone do not contain any BPA and the whole KOKO range is BPA free.

  • What are Phthalates?

    Phthalates are substances added to plastics to increase their flexibility, transparency, durability and longevity. They are used primarily to soften polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Phthalates are being phased out of many products in the European Union over health concerns.

  • What are KOKO Spoons used for?

    The spoons are used to feed your baby when he/she starts eating pureed foods. They are great to feed your baby from a baby food pouch especially when out and about. There will be less mess and you will not need to carry bowl or conventional spoon with you. The KOKO spoons also come in a travel case so you can keep them clean until feeding time and keep your bag clean afterwards!

  • Should I choose KOKO Silicone Spoon (clear) or KOKO Polypropylene Spoon (orange)

    The silicone spoon (clear) is aimed at babies from 4 months old. These younger babies have delicate gums so the super soft silicone spoon is ideal.

    The polypropylene spoon (orange) is aimed at babies from 6 months old.

  • How do I attach my KOKO Spoon to a Food Pouch?

    It is very simple; just remove the cap from the pouch, screw on the spoon and gently squeeze the pouch. The food will start coming out into the spoon.

  • How do I clean my KOKO spoons?

    We recommend cleaning in warm soapy water. In addition, you can run tap water through the spoon to make sure the inside tube has been properly cleared of any food.

    You can also put the spoons in the top rack of the dishwasher

  • The food does not come out of my KOKO spoon, what shall I do?

    Ensure that your food is pureed and not lumpy.

    To avoid blockages, wash the spoon immediately after each use so food does not dry up inside. If there is food residue inside the spoon, leave spoon to soak in warm soapy water to help dislodge it. Should you not be able to remove residue, spoon should be replaced with a new one.

  • My KOKO spoon will not screw on the pouch the right way up, what shall I do?

    There is no right or wrong way to screw the spoon on the pouch. You can hold the pouch in any way and the food will still come out into the spoon.

  • Do the KOKO Spoons fit onto other brands baby food pouches?

    Yes, KOKO spoons fit onto most food pouches.

  • When should I replace my KOKO spoon?

    You should inspect the spoons before each use and throw away and replace at the first sign of damage, cracks or weakness.

  • What is the KOKO Pouch used for?

    The pouches are used to store and serve baby pureed foods. You can prepare your own delicious homemade food, puree it and fill the pouch. The pouch can then be kept in the freezer so you can prepare your meals in advance. Once defrosted, the pouch can be warmed up in the microwave, just make sure it is open when heating up.

  • How do I clean my KOKO pouches?

    We recommend cleaning in warm soapy water. You can also put the pouches in the top rack of the dishwasher

  • Can I fill my pouch with hot foods?

    Yes, the pouch can be filled with hot foods, although very hot or boiling foods should be avoided. The full pouch should be left to cool before putting in the freezer.

    If full pouch food is intended for immediate consumption, always check food temperature before feeding baby.

  • Can I put lumpy foods in my KOKO Pouch?

    The pouch is designed for pureed foods. You can use it to store lumpy foods if required but the food will not squeeze out of the KOKO Spoons.

  • What is my KOKO Milk Powder Container used for?

    The 3 compartments will help you to store pre-measured quantities of milk powder, very convenient when travelling or to prepare night feeds in advance.

  • How do I clean my KOKO Milk Powder Container?

    We recommend cleaning in warm soapy water. You can also put the container in the top rack of the dishwasher

  • Should my KOKO Milk Powder Container be sterilised?

    Yes, the container should be washed and sterilised before use.

  • What is my KOKO Snack pod used for?

    The snack pod is used to store bite-size foods. It is ideal to help develop little ones’ independence. The flexible top enables easy access for small hands but also ensure no spills if the pod topples over. Always ensure you supervise children during use.

  • How do I clean my KOKO Snack Pod?

    We recommend cleaning in warm soapy water. You can also put the snack pod in the top rack of the dishwasher

  • Can my KOKO Snack Pod hold hot snacks?

    Yes the snack pod is heat resistant but foods should only be lukewarm so children do not burn themselves when handling or eating.

    The KOKO fresh food feeder enables your baby to taste new foods and obtain nutrients without choking. Baby can suck or chew without the risk of choking on whole pieces.

    The bag is easily removable for cleaning. Clean in warm soapy water.

    The weaning food freezer tray is used to store and freeze pureed fruits or vegetables. You can prepare delicious meals in advance and pop in the freezer to use at a convenient time. The 8 individual pots are detachable and contain ideal portion sizes for weaning. You can feed your baby directly from the pot or simply push out the contents.

  • How do I clean my KOKO Freezer Tray?

    We recommend cleaning in warm soapy water. You can also put the tray in the top rack of the dishwasher

  • The food does not come out of my freezer tray, what shall I do?

    The food should pop out of the pot easily once de-frosted. Should it not come out of the pot when pushing, give gentle taps on the base to help dislodge food.
